What your customers see
Directory, overview and preferences
Three remaining public pages: two for chains, letting customers choose a branch, and one where anybody can change what you are allowed to send them.
The branch directory
/your-business/locations lists your branches so a customer can pick one. It is the answer to a chain having a single link on its website rather than twelve.
It is also where the shared links land automatically: somebody following /q/your-businessat a business with more than one branch is sent here to choose, then on to that branch's join page. A single-site business never sees it — the link resolves straight to the only location.
There is no settings page for it yet
Location directory appears under account settings but does not configure anything yet. The page renders on defaults and uses your account branding.
The waitlist overview
/your-business/waitlistshows how busy each branch is, side by side. For a customer who could reasonably go to either of two shops, it answers the question they actually have — not “where are you?” but “which one should I go to?”
Branches opt into appearing on it, so a location you would rather not advertise as quiet can stay off. That is set under Account settingsWaitlist overview.
Message preferences
Every marketing message carries a link to a preferences page where the recipient can opt out. This is not optional politeness — it is what the rules require and what keeps your messages being delivered rather than reported.
What a customer can do there
- Withdraw marketing consent, without affecting anything else.
- See what they had agreed to and when.
Opting out of marketing is not opting out of everything
Withdrawing marketing consent stops campaigns. It does not stop the messages about their own visit — being called, a booking reminder — because those are the thing they asked you for. Somebody who wants no messages at all replies STOP, which stops everything and is handled separately. See sender numbers.
If you have one location
The directory and the overview exist but there is nothing to choose between, so nobody will see them. Use the branch links directly and ignore this page — except for message preferences, which matter to every business that sends marketing.
